5OCENT DESPERATE TO MAKE A COMEBACK.

Recently, 50cents album sales have not been as impressive as they have been in the past. His 2005 album, massacre, sold over 5million copies in the u.s alone. Compared to his last solo album, curtis, that sold just 1.2million copies. And more dissipointing, the last g-unit album, terminate on sight has sold just over 200,000 in the u.s.
In a bid to make a comeback with his upcoming album, before i self destruct, he has been using a number of tactics. Since he has beefed with almost every rapper in the game(controversy sells), he now plans to reconcile with some of them to get some love. He is planning a cook-out in his hood later this summer and has invited over the whole d-block, and dipset crew, cliques he had beef with in the past.
one of his other tactics to return to the mixtape circuit, the medium that got him the initial buzz that ended in him being signed to shady/aftermath in 2002. He dropped his new mixtape, war angel, and plans to drop another before his album finally drops later this year.

This is a formal letter of apology from me kayode odusanya, the author of this blog, in respect to how i have been dealing with the affairs of the blog. You would have noticed that for a while now i have not been posting as i used to. And i have lost a conciderable amount of readers. It's all due to the fact that i wast trying to fix into this new job i got. Getting office clothes(i'm a very, very casual person), fixing my car, getting use to lagos traffic, blah! blah! blah!
Anyhow, i am back in full swing and you would be hearing from me more often now.
To celebrate my return, i'm giving out cd's. Just request for any cd in the world, old or new. 50 cent claims his album is perfect.

50 has been pushing the drop date of his latest album, before i self destruct, back for a while now. More likely because he knows he does not have the right buzz. But he has some words for the public.

"I feel like my album is as close to perfect as it's gonna get," he told MTV. "I'm reaching the point to where if I have to continue to write it, I'll be overkilling it."

"I could put lyrics to any melody. I can write a Rap song, I can write an R&B song, I can write whatever type of song. If you put a note on it where I can hear it, man, I can write that. We did that, and that's how I came up with that new cadence for 'Ayo Technology.' We did that a couple of times while we was on there working [on Before I Self Destruct]. It's fun that way to have him participate with me...Even if you ain't got the words. You're up there, 'Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.' Tim will be like, 'I can't believe that. He was able to make everything I just made a noise into a real cadence.' I seen him take pens or pencils into a cup and put it into a shaker. I'm sure nobody else has shaker sounds like that. ... I seen some interesting things from Timbaland."

MICHEAL JACKSON'S DEATH.

Pop icon, micheal jackson has been confirmed dead as at yesterday, thursday 25th june 2009, after earlier news that he was in a coma. Paramedics got to his home in holmby hill, california, at about 12:02p.m local time, in response to a 911 call from his home.
Jackson was
50yrs at time of death. He was pronouced dead at the ucla health center in los angeles at 11:00p.m gmt.
He had 3 children.

JAY-Z' DEATH OF AUTO-TUNE.

Jay-z, rapper and former president of def jam records, recently released a track called, 'death of auto-tune. Auto-tune, an electronical voice enhencer, which is used in the studio to make an artist's singing come out sounding electric and almost flawless, has been made popular by artist like t-pain and ron brownz.
Jay-z is gearing up for the release of his 11th studio album, blueprint 3, and is using every tool possible to gain some buzz before the album drops in september. That should be the reason for his dropping the track. Because just 4 weeks ago, kanye west said he had removed all the tracks on blueprint 3 that had auto-tune in them. If jay's album was to have auto-tune in it, then why discredit something you were planning to use. Isn't that being hypocritical?
Just to spite jay, and show him that he does not roll with him, compton rapper, the game recently dropped a track done in auto-tune. Jay and game have not been in good terms for a while now.

T.I OFF TO JAIL.

The self proclaimed king of the south, T.I, surrendered himself last week tuesday for a jail sentence, from gun charge possession.
He would be serving his jail sentence, a year and a day, in a minimum security prison in Arizona. He took a bold step a couple of days before going in by exchanging vows with 'tiny, his longtime girlfriend. They had been dating since 2001.
We wish him all the best during his prison time.
His current album, paper traìl has sold over 1.8million copies in the u.s alone. And has produced smash singles such as, 'whatever you like, live your life(feat rihanna), dead and gone(feat justin timberlake), no matter what, and swagger like us(feat jay-z, kanye and lil wayne).
