Lil Kim And 50Cent Working on Song Together

It is very cool to know that Lil Kim and 50cent can put their differences aside and work on a song together. I can remember 50 cent dissing kim on a track off 8 mile soundtrack that also feautured eminem and obie trice. That was 2002, and then they did a track together on kim's album, label mafia, titled MAGIC STICK- That was back in 2003.




And then, fast forward to 2005,and kim is dissing 50 on her The Naked Truth album.
 I just got off 50's twitter page, which is where i got the picture of 50 in the studio, and 50 is talking about working on a song for kim. I think that is great- i like when people can put their differences asides when it comes to work.

But it is funny though, because we all know how close 50 and Eminem are, and we know em was on the Romans Revenge track...hmm! I smell a rat- are we being played here?

Game Wants To Squash G-Unit Beef

The Game started beefing with G-Unit in 2005, shortly after his multiple platinum selling debut album, "Documentary" hit stores. I can say Game built a Big movement with the whole G-UNOT campaign and i can say he was the first to go against G-Unit single handedly and still come out untop. So, it is funny that he is reaching out to 50CENT Via twitter, saying they could forget the past and work together again.

People say game is bi-polar and that he would just turn around and diss them(g-unit) again, like he has done in the past, but i think game is serious this time.

I am a big fan of his music, and if he had done this 3 years ago, i might have been disapointed, but i guess he made his point with the beef, and has gone platinum on two more albums after that, so i think he is good. But i know a lot of people are going to find it a hard pill to swallow.

Jay-Z, and P-Diddy dorminate Forbes Cash Kings List,; 50 Cent slips further down the list

Forbes has been known to draft a list of the highest earning artist in hiphop over a period of twelve months through the year; running from July- July of the next year. Three people that have been constant on the list have been JAY-Z, P-DIDDY and 50 CENT, but 50 cents slips way below his 2nd position in 2008, and 4th position last year.

Below are some of the artist on the list:
Forbes released their annual hip-hop cash king list today and at the top of the pile is Jay-Z. They estimate Hov grossed $63 million last year. Rounding out the top five are Dr.Dre ($17 million), Lil Wayne ($20 million), Akon ($21 million) and Diddy ($30 million) (Rap Radar)

Wow! Jay doubled the earnings of diddy, the second on the list. I think jay is just in a lane of his own right now. He must have made must of that money from his BLUEPRINT3 album, and all the touring. I guess he has to compete against his wife, BEYONCE, and that would definitely keep him on his toes.

I kinda feel really good to see that LUDACRIS is making his dough, because he is so under-rated. Snoop must have made all that money from his sitcom, "snoopdog fatherhood", because i don't see any other way he made all that money, because his album, MALICE N WONDERLAND, did not do good numbers.

In the last week or so, there has been a lot of direct and subliminal disses from both LIL KIM and "nicki minaj" towards themselves, which started off when lil kim felt the list nicki minaj could do after stealing her whole style was to at least pay homage. I am not too sure, but I think I read some time ago that nicki credited lil kim as being one of the artist that influenced her; maybe I read wrongly.

So, the dissing has been going back and fort for the last 10 days or so, and a lot of people have weighed in on the matter.

Nicki's label mate, DRAKE had this to say:

"I just feel Lil Kim is a 'G' in the game, I feel like you're part of an era that's classic, that we'll never forget as young kids, me and Nicki, so it's like, you don't have to do that," Drake told television personality DJ Envy. "You don't have to get on stage and announce your presence and tell people to pay homage. That's a given and I watched Nicki pay homage to her time and time again and I just didn't respect it at all and whoever else was on stage with her, I don't respect that. You're just wearing your heart on your sleeve, you're showing that you're upset. And to me, nobody's done that to me yet and you know, but I would never expect Jay or Ye to get on stage and be like, 'Yo, pay homage to me! You need to respect me!' They know, they command my respect. They know their music and talent and that just signs that you're losing it, like, that's just how I felt and I really did take that personally. It bothered me and I really don't get too caught up with the Twitter, Internet stuff, but I did see it and I was like, 'You're supposed to be a 'G' and that just wasn't 'G' to me at all." I think I understand what drake is trying to say, that kim is bigger than that, but I have to correct him there though, when he compares the situation with if jay-z and kanye west would go up and ask him to pay homage- well, the difference with that and nicki minaj's case is that he didn't steal anybody's style, but it is clear that nicki minaj was influenced by lil kim, and her not confirming it, and then running with the whole lil kim swag when lil kim is still alive, and planning to drop a new album, now, that is a problem.

Let's read what controversial rapper, 50CENT have to say in the whole matter:

I think for the first time, I am seeing a point to what 50 cent has to say; I think he makes a point there. You know how lil kim can get with all her BIGGIE campaign, and for P.DIDDY, to now compare RICK ROSS to BIG, and then want to manage nicki, wow! I know how kim would feel about it.

Now, let's read what FAT JOE had to say about the matter;

"I think she's super dope," Joey Crack said about Minaj. "I think she's sexy, she's doing her thing. She's killing them, fly fashion, she's got it all, you know what I'm saying? It's like, sky's the limit. Yeah, Nicki Minaj needs to pay homage, she needs to say, 'Yo, Kim is dope.' What's wrong with that? 'Yo, Kim is dope, she's the sh*t.' I'm a fan, I've been in the game for f*cking 17 years and I still say KRS-One is my idol. I still say LL Cool J is my idol. It's nothing wrong with saying 'Yo, Kim is the sh*t.' That's fat joe right there trying to be extra diplomatic, but getting his point across. Even though he is friends with YOUNG MONEY/CASH MONEY C.E.O, he has to get his point along.

To end this, I would just like to push my point across; i don't think nicki would ever pay homage, because, right now, she has all the fame, and it is getting to her head, and she would feel she is disappointing her fans if she did that; her ego wouldn't even allow her to do that right now. But what I have to say is that, in a lyrically battle, lil kim would show nicki minaj who the baddest bitch is.

50 CENT DISSES LIL WAYNE AT HOWARD UNIVERSITY.

I just saw a video on youtube.com where 50 CENT was being interviewed at Howard university and he dissed LIL WAYNE, directly. I mean he mentions the dudes name, no subliminal.
I mean, i didn't believe a day would come when i would actually listen and agree with what 50 had to say, but i have to ride with him on this one.
He was talking about a rapper that has so many amazing punch-lines in a song, and yet he(the rapper) does not make sense, over all. Audience, students from the crowd started mumbling lil wayne's name. Then he faces them and ask, "did i hear you say lil wayne"? And then he agrees that he was talking about wayne, and the whole audience applauded him in agreement.

He later went in hard on wayne, saying all the gangsta stories wayne be rapping can't be factual, since he practically grew up on t.v. What he meant was that, since wayne had been in the industry since he was 15, rapping with hot boys, when did he get the time to be on the streets and do all what he claims to have done. You get it?

I totally agree with 50 on this one. I kept telling people that wayne lost focus after his carter 2 album. People be calling carter 3 a classic, that is so annoying. He started paying more attention to punchlines & metarphors, than actually making a good song with a theme. Then he amplified that his annoying delivery voice. That seem to bring him more fan base, and more money, but you don't last with something like that. It is only a fad, and people would get tired of it pretty soon.

I wish wayne all the best, and i hope he listens to what 50 said, and not take it as 50 hating on him.
