There has been a rumor for a while now that Fabolous and Ne-Yo were getting together for a collabo album, sort of like what Jay-Z and R.Kelly did with the Best Of Both Worlds thing, and it just got confirmed.
Read below for more info on it:
When Fabolous' 2007 track "Make Me Better," featuring Ne-Yo, was burning up the charts, the Brooklyn emcee announced that he was considering doing an entire album with the R&B singer.
Now, it seems as though Fab will follow up with the plan, which was then described as something similar to Jay-Z and R. Kelly's Best of Both Worlds project.
“I think this year too I might be doing this project with Ne-Yo finally,” said Fabolous to XXLmag.com. “We’ve been in talks for a minute. It’s really sounding like it’s gonna get done. Ne-Yo is really hyped about it. I just fell back on it, but now I see the wheels are turning a little bit. I think we need that for the game. Some of the allure from the game is gone. You see people doing less numbers, so now let’s do some vanity projects where people are collaborating together.”
The entire project will reportedly be produced by Ryan Leslie, who produced Fabolous' "You Be Killin' 'Em" from There Is No Competition 2: The Grieving Music Mixtape and Ne-Yo's "Crazy Love" from Libra Scale, which features Fab.

Game- Purp and Patron Mixtape, R.E.D Album, and more
Right now i am listening to the Purp and Patron Mixtape (Game's new mixtape that dropped a couple of days ago), and i can say i am hearing a lot of maturity on some tracks, and a lot of versatility. I heard some old tracks, even though game claimed all the tracks. The track, "children story", i have heard it on one of his previous blackwall street mixtapes. Anyway, the mixtape has a huge buzz on the internet right now and i am happy for him. I think he needs something like this for them to give him clearance for his R.E.D album at Interscope.
His album is long overdue, and he needs to drop it before people start forgetting him. Game is everywhere on the internet right now, so i am going to bring up some of the news on him-
Game maintains that R.E.D. will still be executive produced by Pharrell and feature production from Dr. Dre, and that he's only a week away from settling on an official single. "I got a couple singles picked out. I talk to the label in a week and I'll play them the whole album and we'll come to an agreement collectively on what we should go with," he explained. "I got shitloads of singles for the album. So we'll see what catches and we'll roll with it." As far as collaborations, the former G-Unit rapper did reveal that Chris Brown and Wiz Khalifa will make the final cut. "Oh yeah, Wiz is on the album, Chris is on the album. Pretty much everyone is on the album," he shared. "Whoever you could think of. Except Jay-Z and 50." (Rap-Up)
Hmm! I don't know, but i really would like if game didn't have to keep bringing up 50cent's name. You got talent kid, you do not need all that publicity by shouting out 50 name (in a negative light)...or maybe i don't know how the music industry works.
More news from game below concerning the R.E.D album-
"The R.E.D. Album is pretty much 95 percent done," Game explained in an interview. "Until I find a record that is just so amazing to me, and it's next level and doesn't sound like anything that's out, makes me feel comfortable with it being played on the radio... I won't give R.E.D. Album a date. At this point, it's pretty much in my hands. I had a meeting with Jimmy Iovine and the label heads about a week ago, and they gave me the green light to pick a date when I want. The album is so classy, that I can't sell it short with any single man. I wanna come with the right song, and make sure it's a song that's classic and iconic, and then we'll know." (Complex)
I wish Game all the best- he still is in my top 3 for right now (Nas, Jadakiss, and Game).
Below is more news on the PURP AND PATRON MIXTAPE and the R.E.D album- in fact, it is a full-length interview.
AllHipHop.com: Congratulations on the success of the Purp and Patron mixtape. Your reps told me it has done about 200,000 downloads since you dropped it.
Game: Ni**as is congratulating me on the mixtape all day, like a Ni**a just won the NAACP Award or some s**t. (Laughs). I got three albums, all of them are platinum. I can understand it. They aint gravitating to some nobody in s**t. But I have to be honest, I didn't think it was going to do all this s**t. I can't even begin to understand it.
AllHipHop.com: How do you think the people at Interscope are feeling since the official album has been delayed?
Game: The label, they talking about putting The R.E.D. Album out tomorrow (laughs). We had a conversation, I'm going to go play them the album next week. The label is already on board, that's why I put the mixtape out.
AllHipHop.com: So Interscope had no problems with you dropping this double mixtape with all of those cameos? They gave you permission?
Game: Gave me permission? Grouchy, Ni**as don't give me no f**king permission. I met with Jimmy Iovine himself, I told him what my ideas were as far as my project. Then he put the whole building at my disposal.
AllHipHop.com: So there's like 30 some odd new songs out and that doesn't include this Hangover bonus you said you are going to drop. Didn't these songs take a lot of money to make, with the amount of guest appearances on this mixtape?
Game: I'm from one of the most notorious cities in America. Over the years, throughout the early phases of my career, all the way up until now, I've developed friendships, so I can pretty much get anybody on a song as far as reaching out. Fab, Wayne, those are my dudes, along with Snoop. Me and Wiz [Khalifa] got tight in the last four or five months. It wasn't hard to put together the project, but the studio time, that was on me. I probably spent about $20, $30,00 working on this mixtape. But I just came off tour, I'm caked up, so we made it happen.
AllHipHop.com: With all these guest appearances, what in the world can be left for your official album?
Game: The album is nothing to be played with. It's killing the mixtape. The mixtape I threw that s**t out and Skee helped sequence in the right way.
AllHipHop.com: Is there any conceptual theme to this album? I noticed the song you gave AllHipHop.com "The Kill," it seems like you are speaking to your fans a little bit different. To be honest it sounds more mature.
Game: The album sounds like The Documentary on steroids. The only thing missing from this album is 50 Cent. As much as he don't like me and I don't like him - or we say that we don't like each other - it's the only thing missing. I worked with Dre again, Just Blaze is back on it, I worked with Swizz Beatz again, I worked with 'Ye (Kanye West) again, I got DJ Premier on the album, Pharrell is executive producing it. Snoop, Drake, Trey Songz, Chris Brown, E40, Big Boi, it's crazy.
Game: There aint nobody to middleman the situation. It's going to have to be me and him. People would think it was a hoax or one of us was messing around with the other. We would really have to sit down, or it's going to be nothing.
AllHipHop.com: It's obvious the fans are waiting for The R.E.D. Album. XXL Magazine did a poll among the fans to see what album they were waiting for the most in 2011. You won by a landslide, over a lot of rappers.
Game: Of course. When it comes to albums, I don't disappoint. Like people can diss, bring up the "Change of Heart" s**t, say that I'm a fake blood. Like the "Change of Heart" s**t. OK, I went on there. That was me, I loved it, I had a ball. I was 17, that s**t was fun and I'd do it again today at 30. That was then. Ni**as say I'm a fake blood. But the Ni**as that think they are real bloods got their affiliation from me. I can dip in and out of any hood. Ni**as f**k with me man. I done paid my dues in the street. I don't have to try and be a "real" blood. I'm not out doing drive-bys, I'm at home with my kids. But as I elevate my life, my career, my family, I'm still the same person on the inside. If you push my button, I will break your s**t in half. Anybody will. If someone is testing your manhood, a f**king nerd will fight you. This album is me, I want it to see the light of day, not for me, but for my fans. They've been waiting on it.
AllHipHop.com: You touched on you being a blood. And you dropped that cut "Soo Woo" with LilWayne , who also reps the bloods in his music. Do y'all ever worry about law enforcement messing with y'all since everyone is claiming one affiliation?
Game: I'll flip that question on you. Do you think the gang banging problem is realistically worse now than it was, when Ni**as like Snoop and N.W.A. was out? Why would anyone try to stop me or any of them Ni**as around the world who "think" they are bloods? Being a blood has become more a fad or a fashion for some people. Ni**as say blood and never seen it. Shit, I got Kim Kardashian and them on the mixtape yelling
"Soo Woo." It aint nothing.
AllHipHop.com: How do you feel about that, seeing as though you come from the era and area when it was real?
Game: I'm glad that being gang affiliated has become less violent.
AllHipHop.com: You have Lil Boosie on a track titled "187." Man of all the song titles, "187"? Wow. He's in jail facing the death penalty over a murder. What was it like working with Boosie?
Game: When he was going through trial, he did that for me and he was like "you can hold that. You are going to have the only Boosie verse and you might have the last Boosie verse for a long time." He looked out and I want everyone to know I am doing it for him too. I remembered I had it and I was like let me give the dude some light. I know that where ever he is, he got wind of it and he knows what's up.
AllHipHop.com: Well it's pretty dope how much balance this mixtape has artist wise, with cats from The Bay, West and the East. Why is this always so important for you to have this amount of unity?
Game: When have I not been a universal artist. When have I not named dropped my favorite artists? It's just who I am. When have I not payed homage? I got KRS, Doug E. Fresh and Big Daddy Kane on this album, on one track! A lot of the younger rappers aren't grass-rooted in Hip-Hop. They don't even know who Digable Planets is. They would think that was a special on A&E about the stars or some s**t. Ni**as don't go back to EPMD, Strictly Business or The Geto Boys, Tela, they don't know about the first Blueprint. Ni**as think Jay-Z had the first Blueprint.
AllHipHop.com: So on the "History" track with KRS, Doug E. Fresh and Big Daddy Kane, you actually worked in the studio with them?
Game: We was all in the studio at the same time. I got it on camera. Outside of meeting Dr. Dre, that was the best night of my f**king life. I will never forget it, and I am forever in debt, first to KRS-One, cause he put it together. Doug E. for being a good friend of mine and coming to the studio and my other homie Dougie D. who was like 'You got them in the studio? Let me call my man Kane!' Even KRS said 'Us three never been in the studio at one time, never."

Game chopped it up with AllHipHop.com’s Founder Grouchy Greg and went into detail about how the massive mixtape came together, the possibilities of a collaboration with 50 Cent, his thoughts on Bloods in Hip-Hop and how a monumental track with KRS-One, Doug E. Fresh and Big Daddy Kane came to fruition.
All of this is to hold fans over until his fourth official LP The R.E.D. Album gets a release date. According to Game, the mixtape is a throwaway until the real thing comes along. Check out Part 1 of this 2 Part interview.

Duo Producers Sean C and LV Commented on The Nas And Reakwon Collabo Track
The track title is "Rich & Black2, and it is to appear on Raekwon's upcoming album- Shaolin Vs Wu-Tang scheduled to drop later this year. The duo producers (Sean C & LV) that worked on the production commented on it.
Read it below:
'It's a crazy feeling to be a part in those two getting back together--just straight forward, Boom Bap type hip-hop. It's real simple with no frosting," says Sean C. "We wanted to give the emcees room to move. They got more than two verses--that's all I can say. Yall will hear it very soon. Everything has been finalized." (VIBE)
"It's pure hard drums and a couple strings in there. I can only say that it's just a head nod beat (pause). It's just one of them shits that makes you look like you just got punched in the face." (VIBE)
Hmm! It is cool to know that this OG's of rap can still make headlines like this.
Below is what rae had to say about the whole collabo:
"It definitely sounds like vintage Rae and Nas again," Rae said about their leaked track. "I [saw] Nas across seas, we had a show together, and we talked about a lot of things," Rae explained about how the two linked up. "We went from "A through Z ", how we felt about things what was goin on at the time, and by thegrace of God we was able to get this thing happenin' again. That was definitely one of the surprise things that I wanted to alert the fans with, just to let em know that my brother came up [for] air for me and I know through his busy schedule, in the back of his mind he was like 'Yo I gotta come up for Rae.'" (XXL Mag)
Hey guys! Do you guys like how i put up that nas and rae pic from back in the day...lol! I think that was from when they recording tracks together back in the mid 90's.

Jay-Z and Will Smith Developing Remake of "Annie" With Willow Smith
Willow Smith is signed to Jay-Z's ROC NATION label, and her father is Will Smith, so it is clear this girl is going places. Her boss and her father are currently working on the Remake of the 80's classic movie, Annie, which she is going to be staring in. Hmm! I think Will Smith is really using his muscle in Hollywood to a stretch- first his son played in the Re-make of Karate Kid, which was originally played by a white kid, and now, this thing with Willow.
I have studied the lives of both Jay and will smith, and the code they live by, which i also adhere to is that anything is possible as long as you put your mind to it. I am just really happy for the privilege this little girl has with a father like will, and THANK GOD she has been living up to the hype
Below is the story:
Sony considering backing the movie-musical which would see Smith producing and Jay working on the music
Will Smith has already helped one of his kids become a movie star, producing last year’s The Karate Kid which starred son Jaden and took in over $350 million dollars in worldwide box office. Now, according to Variety, the former Fresh Prince has plans to develop another remake starring his daughter, Willow. The project this time out is Annie, the 1982 movie adaptation of the hit Broadway musical. Will Smith’s production company, Overbrook Shingle, is currently in talks with Sony.
Jay-Z, the head of Willow’s label, Roc Nation, is also involved. He is currently in conversations to work on the music of the proposed film. Jay would seem to have plenty of experience with the material having scored one of his most iconic hits when he teamed with The 45 King for “Hard Knock Life”, a song which sampled the song “It’s The Hard Knock Life” from the original film production of Annie.
Since the project is still in the early stages details are scant. But DX will keep you posted as more news becomes available.

Since the project is still in the early stages details are scant. But DX will keep you posted as more news becomes available.

Rap Albums On The Billboard Charts
This is the time of the year when album sales are the lowest, and it is evident on the billboard charts this week. Nicki Minaj still has the highest selling rap album on the charts, even though she sold just 32,000 copies this week. Her Pink Friday Debut is now at a total of 922,000 copies sold.
My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is next up- Kanye West's 5th album sold 25,000 copies this week, and he is now at a total of 941,000 copies sold. In just about 3 weeks from now, he would have gone platinum.
And the Great Pope of rap; the Elvis Presly of hiphop, none other than Eminem himself is up next. Recovery sold 21,000 copies this week, and he is at a total of 3,470,000 copies. From this, you can see that em is in a league of his own. It is like every other rapper is on on track, and he created another running track for himself. No other rapper has even gone double platinum in the last 24 months, and eminem is 3 times platinum going on 4.
The christian rapper, Lacre is up next with his new album, Rehab: The Overdose. Unfortunately, i know so little about this dude, apart from the fact that he is the highest selling christian rapper of all time. I guess i have to check him out.
T.I's NO MERCY album sold 15,000 copies this week, totaling now at 367,000. And Lil Wayne's I AM NOT A HUMAN BEING sold 12k this week, bringing the total sales of the album to 692,000.
Sheek Louch and Lloyd Banks are no where to be found on the charts; i guess gangster rap no longer sales. But i got to say that they did make lovely albums with their recent efforts.

J.Cole Had a Crush On Aaliyah
J.Cole just confessed that he had such a crush on Aaliyah; i must say that he is not the only one. I had such a huge crush on Aaliyah like i have never had on any other r&b singer that has ever been on the scene. Till today, my eyes almost get watery when her videos come on- especially the "more than a woman" video.
Aaliyah just had that thing about her; it wasn't sexiness or anything like what female artist like to portray nowadays. She was really a germ.
Below is what J.Cole had to say about his crush on her:
"Aaliyah, man, it's such a [tragedy]," Cole said in an interview. "I had such a crush on Aaliyah. It was like a little boy crush but it was a true crush. Then when she died, I called my mentor because he was way older than me and I was like, 'Man, you think it would be corny? I want to make a beat.' I was always naming my beats, and this beat I wanna make for Aaliyah. Not a song, I just wanted to make a beat...I did a beat. I wish I could remember, like, I remember slightly what the beat sounded like. But that was my way to pay respect in my own little world, in my own room, just making a beat for her." (Soul Culture)
Aww! That is so sweet.

Wyclef Says Fugees Are Not Meant To Be
I press rewind, 15 years ago, i can remember me and my 3 brothers going to the store to get "The Score", the FUGEES album- it felt so great. We had basically heard half the songs on the album on radio, so it was no argument whether the rest of the album would be dope.
They sold all those records, and made it big individually too. Then when their individually successes started to dwindle, Wyclef, the suppose leader of the group started trying to get them together again- i guess he is still trying, after more than 10 years.
Incase you don't really know about the fugees, they were a rap group that comprised of Wyclef, Pras, and Lauryn Hill. I guess what made the group so super was the balance they had- Pras was the all round rapper, wyclef was the rap/producer with all the creativity, and lauryn doubled as a rapper and a singer- it couldn't get better. The album that brought them to limelight, the score, was released on Columbia records, in 1996.
Below is what wyclef had to say about fugees:
"I saw Pras on the flight and as a Fugees member I didn't know whether to elbow him, shoot him or give him a kiss and we gave a hug (sic)," explained Clef in an interview with BBC.
"When it comes to Lauryn and Pras, it's my childhood, they always bring me to that place," he explained, clearly feeling the nostalgia many Fugees fans feel to this day. "Bono's U2 calls The Fugees the Hip Hop version of the Beatles. It was the first band of Hip Hop in our generation."
Unfortunately, while Wyclef has fond memories of the Fugees' past, he has no optimism for their future. "At the end of the day Pras is my brother and Lauryn is my sister, despite what the media say. The Fugees are not meant to be. We're rock stars from a locked group. You're going to have egos and differences but at the end of the day I love them both very much"

Yelawolf Signed To Shady Records
Yelawolf is not just another white rapper that is trying to be like Eminem, he is actually really dope. He just got signed to Eminem's Shady Records Label, and he recently shared the experience, and how keeping quiet was the hardest thing he has had to do- that is, keeping quiet before it became official.
I must say it came as a surprise to me. I had read where Eminem said he thought yelawolf was dope, but there was no indications that he actually was thinking of signing him. Of course, everybody knew about the ongoing battle to sign SLAUGHTER HOUSE (Joel Ortiz, Crooked 1, Joe Budden, and Royce Da 5`9) as a group, which is now settled, but i don't think anyone saw this coming. I think this is great for HIPHOP, and i can't wait for some new material with the two emcee's.
So, right now, i am just wondering what's up with Eminem's original rap group, D12...has he totally abandoned them?
Anyway, below is what Yelawolf had to say about his signing to Shady Records:
"Keeping quiet was the hardest sh*t in the world, honestly. I was just so excited for a while. And everyone from my team who did know was really responsible about not letting it out. But I met with Eminem about four to five months ago in Detroit. [Manager] Paul [Rosenberg] and Em flew me and my manager out to just kick it and get acquainted. From that meeting, I had no idea it would turn into this situation. I remember Paul was asking me about the meth problem in Alabama and I told him that I wrote 'Pop The Trunk' based off that issue. Next thing I know, Em starts rapping some of my lines from the song. I can't even describe how that felt, I actually got super nervous. Em's a real hip-hop fan, he knows about everything that's going on." (VIBE)
"We kicked it a couple times but we haven't laid anything down yet. But I think we're supposed to go to Detroit next week, so it's coming. Just wait. I already know the pressure is there but if I let that shit get to me, it'll affect my music. A lot of rappers have this obsession with staying underground, but I want to take it to the stadium level. We've been sitting on records for like four years that we knew were too big for a mixtape. So I'm just focused on writing a great album right now. That's why I'm calling it Radioactive because I want to personally challenge myself and the industry. It's a metaphor for my version of radio records. Now, it's just time to put out a major album and let everyone know why I'm Shady." (VIBE)
Earlier in the week, Yela hit up Twitter to share his post-Shady announcement reaction.
"Preshate everybody congratulating me .. I'm workin on my album right now .. More motivated than ever .. Ghet-O-Vision.Interscope.SHADY !!!!! Figured it was worthy time to change this profile pic .... SHADY 2011" (Yelawolf's Twitter)
Em made the deal official Wednesday (January 12) afternoon.
Eminem is back in more ways than one. The Detroit lyricist is reviving his Shady Records company, and Wednesday (January 12) he announced the signing of two new acts: underground supergroup Slaughterhouse and upstart rapper Yelawolf. Cashis and D-12 remain on the roster, but Em made no secret of wanting to bring new life to his company. "Yelawolf and Slaughterhouse, it's kinda phase two of Shady," Eminem explained in a statement. "It's the new generation of Shady Records, and as we're trying to rebuild our label, it's exciting for hip-hop, and with all of these forces coming together and with what everybody's capable of on the mic, it's gonna be fun." (MTV)

Jay Electronica Says Nas is One of The Greatest to Ever Do It
I feel good when ever i read stuff like this- Jay Electronica Says Nas is One of The Greatest To Ever Do It. Remember that this is one of the new breed of rappers, even though he is really lyrical and not so young and all. And also, he just signed a deal with Roc Nation, Jay-Z's imprint. It is funny that 2 rappers under that label, J.cole and Jay Electronica have said it that they more or less look up to Nas, and studied him to be who they are. I am sure they would have said he was the best if jay wasn't their boss. Me personally, i think Nas is a better rapper, if compared to jay.
Anyway, below is what jay electronica had to say about nas;
"Working with Nas is good; it's an honor and a privilege," Jay Electronica said in an interview. "Because he someone you look up to coming up. When you look at Nas, it's not even an argument--he's one of the greatest to ever do it. The only argument is if he is the greatest, so it's exciting. As a swordsman, it's always exciting meeting another swordsman. How does he swing his?" ("The Come Up Show")
Okay, so his question is if nas is the greatest- he more or less puts nas in a top 5 position, in no order. So, i would like to ask you, my readers what you think- who do you think is the greatest of all time?

Rap Albums on The Billboard Charts
Nicki Minaj is untop with her Pink Friday debut album this week- that is, she has the highest selling rap album for the week, although i wont fully call her album a full rap album...too much pop in the mix, but i guess that is how it goes nowadays. Anyway, pink friday sold 39,000 copies this week, and it is now at a total of 890, 000. She would probably go platinum in about 4 weeks from now.
Eventhough Kanye West and Eminem both released albums last year, em's album was released far earlier than Mr West's album, but they moved the same units this week- 33,000 copies individually. Eminem's Recovery album is now at a grand total of 3, 348, 000 copies so far, and My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is at 915,000 total.
T.T is presently in jail for obstructing parole, but that isn't stopping him from making some money. His latest album, NO MERCY, sold 19,000 copies this week, bringing the total to 353,000 copies.
I Am Not A Human Being by Lil Wayne has sold a grand total of 680,000 copies, and it moved 15,000 copies this week. Diddy's Dirty Money album, Last Train To Paris sold 11,000 copies this week, and is now at a total of 172,000 copies. Unfortunatley, Ghostface Killa's album, Apollo Kids is not doing so well on the charts. It sold 3,800 copies this week, and now at a total of 23,000 copies. Lloyd Banks is still slugging it out on the charts, and his latest album sold 2,600 copies this week-The Hunger For More 2 is now at a total of 82,000 sold.

50 Cent Made $8.7 Million
Yeah, you read it right; 50 Cent just made $8.7 million, although it wasn't off his music. It is great to read that a man that made it out of the hood would be making some Wall Street money- 50 cent made that off shares in...
Rapper 50 Cent made $8.7 million in paper money on Monday thanks to some tweets. The singer helped pop the shares of the penny stock of H&H Imports, in which he has a stake, by talking it up on Twitter over the weekend, the paper said. H&H owns a marketing firm called TV Goods that was founded by Kevin Harrington of ABC reality show Shark Tank fame, according to the paper. H&H stock gained 29 cents to 39 cents on Monday. That helped boost the value of the singer's stake by $8.7 million, the Post said. 50 Cent, aka Curtis Jackson, received 30 million shares of H&H in a private placement last October. In March, the firm's auditor raised questions about its ability "to continue as a going concern." (Hollywood Reporter)
Despite the sudden growth in stock, there is speculation on the company's stability.
Of course, Jackson's hype won't fix the cash-flow problems at H&H. The company lost $1.3 million last quarter on revenues of just $292,933. As of Sept. 30, the company has accumulated a deficit of $3.3 million and in March its auditor raised questions about its ability "to continue as a going concern," the company has said in financial documents. H&H closed at 39 cents yesterday, up 29 cents, boosting Jackson's 30 million-share stake by $8.7 million. (New York Post)
50 spent almost a week's time tweeting bout H&H Imports.
"I own HNHI stock thoughts on it are my opinion. Talk to financial advisor about it.," he tweeted Monday (January 10).
"HNHI is the right investment for me it may or may not be right for u! Do ur homework" (50 Cent's Twitter)
Okay, let me do the math- 50 cent has over 3 million followers on twitter, and some of them would have re-tweeted that message to million other friends (the wonderful power of twitter), so let's say, overall, about 12 million people read his tweets, and with his famous money making abilities, a lot of people would go on and purchase the stock...hmm!!! Good looking 50...that's some smart way to hustle. I respect any man that know how to make that money legitimately- even though i might not really be big on 50's music as of late, i still respect his money making tactics.
Go on 50, make that money 4 ways...music, headphones, wallstreet, and hollywood.

Kanary Diamond- Diamondz Boys & 808's Mixtape
Yeah, Kanary Diamonds just dropped her new mixtape, Diamondz Boys & 808's today, and i am listening to it right now. What can i say? So far, the mixtape is dope. If you didn't know, Kanary Diamonds is signed to Game's BLACK WALL STREET Label, and she was featured on Game's RED Mixtape, and i can't say she didn't impress me on there.
I think she might really have a chance to blow, if she works harder. This mixtape should help a lot on her way to the top,a s long as she pushes it well. Untop of being dope, she is actually pretty hot!

Sheeks Louch Talks Secret of Longevity in The Game
Sheek Louch is one third of the legendary rap group, THE LOX, that were signed with Puff Daddy's BAD BOY RECORDS back in 1996. They appeared as guest appearance on both Notorious Biggie's second album, and Mase's first album. Sheek louch, jadakiss, and styles p, make up the super group.
Sheek Louch has released 4 solo albums, and he is still waxing strong. Below is what he had to say about longevity:
"I don't care if there's new artists or not. When I come in the club it's a big thing," Sheek revealed in an interview. "They're trying to follow the trend. They're trying to follow whatever's hot. And I'm gonna speak for Jada and Styles as well. We don't do that. We make our music what feels good to us, not what we're trying to be...I've ventured out and I tried. I had the 'Good Love' record and I got 'Party After 2' with Jeremih now. That's another lane that I discovered that I got. I really figured out that 'Wow, these women is on me right now.' If you feel comfortable with doing those records, cool, but [don't] come out the gate with those records because you feel the label wants you to." (Hip Hop Game)

Lloyd Banks Talks About Making His First Million at 20
I think Lloyd banks was 20 when they did that G-Unit album, Beg For Mercy, so i know where the million must have come from. If he had as much as just a little percentage off that album, eh could have easily made a lot of money from it. The album sold like 3.5 million copies in America alone, and he must have made a lot from touring.
Below is what he had to say:
"I think every artist, you make mistakes when you come into the game," Banks said in an interview. "I made my first million dollars when I was 20-years-old and I was too scared to touch it. I eat humble pie every morning so I really didn't have the temptation to go out there and live beyond my means. And being around someone like 50 [Cent] made it easier because if you see him shine then I'm shining right next to him. I was smart enough to know that. We're from the hood. If that's 50 car and I'm in it, who are they to know. That's our car. Or if we pull up to the awards in the Phantom, that's our Phantom." (Hip Hop Wired)
Okay, now i know where he had just one old Chevy S.UV back in the day. I hope he put the money to good use. I think he made a lot from his beemer benz and bentley single, so, he is still good- even though his album didn't do so good.

More on Foxy Brown's Lil Kim Diss
Last December, which is last month, Brooklyn Female Rap Veteran, Foxy Brown Promised to drop a diss track aimed at another New York Female Rap Veteran, Lil Kim, on Christmas Eve, but it failed to drop. The name of the track was supposed to be titled Christmas Massacre and was supposed to go in hard on kim. So, why didn't she drop it?
I don't know, she gave some excuses, but i don't think those are the real reasons. I think she probably had not finished recording it when she said she was going to drop it. She probably said that to check the response of the people, and it probably wasn't favorable. Personally, i think Kim is the queen, but right now, i would put Nicki Minaj over Foxy Brown, and even Eve.
My friend and i were just talking yesterday, and he said he suspects all these chicks just got together and planned all these things, I wouldn't be surprised though, cos all of them have benefited from this beefing one way or the other.
Below are some tweets from foxy
"Haaaaaaa!!!! LOL! at some faggot a** interns leaking my practice!!!! THE OFFICIAL "MASSACRE" IN 1 HOUR!!!!!!!!! Countdown baby........," she tweeted Saturday (January 8).
"THESE F*GGOTS MUST BE ON KIMBERLY PAYROLL"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" (Foxy Brown's Twitter)
Whatever...there is too much talk, she should just get it out already. I think there are some part of it that have already leaked, judging by what she said in her tweet....let us check it out below:
Female emcee and Brooklyn's own Foxy Brown was supposed to release the diss record "Christmas Massacre," on Christmas Eve, a track intended to annihilate Lil' Kim, but the days are flying by without a record in sight. Apparently, she was going to host a party that night as well at Club Jelani in Brooklyn but after confusion with the party's location, FB was a no show. No official word has been spoken on the status of "Christmas Massacre" but Fox took to herTwitter to shed light a bit of light on an unfortunate situation that's caused the delay: "I'd like to personally apologize for the confusion and venue changing of the beautiful 'Christmas In Brooklyn' party. Although the confusion fell far beyond my control, my responsibility and concern is to my fans and family; my priority. As I always say...they Devi's at his busiest when ur about to get busy." (VIBE)
Foxy also said "Massacre" would not be an attempt to diss Kim or Young Money's Nicki Minaj.
"And contrary to the bullsh*t that was posted..."Christmas Massacre" is NOT supporting homegirl and dissin' shorty! "Massacre" is......."
"...the response to b*tches thinkin' its sweet insinuating my name in that beef! "Machine Gun Kelly" b*tch!! I am the streets!" (Foxy Brown's Twitter)

Nas Gets Child Support Payment Slashed
I read it yesterday, and i thought it would be be great for nas, because those child support payments are just incredible. We all know how" in love" nas and kelis were when they got married, and i still wonder what made them split, so i felt the child support issue was just so ridiculous. I felt it was, maybe, a way kelis was using it to get back at nas. So, it has been confirmed that his payments have been slashed in half.
Read details below:
In late May last year Nas and Kelis officially divorced after four years of marriage and a year of separation. The Judge ordered Nas to pay $10,000 a month in child support for their just-born son. If that wasn't steep enough, he was also ordered to pay $40,000 a month in alimony.
Shortly after, the Queensbridge emcee claimed he couldn't afford his monthly support bills, and now a Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge has listened.
According to TMZ, the Judge has cut his child support to $5000 per month and his spousal support down to $20000.
I think that is still a bit high, but that is wayyy better than what he had to pay before. But, it is just a pity that a good guy like nas would be going through this kind of mess. I wish him all the best, and can't wait for a new album from him. He needs to complete his new album, his 10th, and get it out there- the game needs him.

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian Are An Item
There has been a lot of rumor that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are dating, but she was asked that question recently and she said she was just having fun. I don't know, but i have to ask- what is the world turning into? I ain't trying to knock anyone's hustle but why does kim always have to ride off sexually related controversy to get in the news. You know something is wrong with the world when people start doing anything just to get noticed.
I first heard about kim kardashian when the sex tape she made with Ray-J leaked on the internet- which i heard she intentionally did herself. That is really crazy. I am not a prude or anything, but i just think it is really absurd. And i was reading her tweets last week, and she was begging people to vote or something like to keep her family show- "keeping up with the kardashians" on air. I think NBC, or who ever is handling it wanted to stop airing it. So, i think she is now on a rampage to get some buzz. lol!! I know you might be laughing at my conclusion right now, it is just what i am forced to think right now.
Anyway, below is what she and her sister, KHLOE, had to say about the kanye issue:
Kim Kardashian has opened up about her rumoured romance with Kanye West - insisting she is just 'having a lot of fun'. The 30-year-old has recently been spotted out with US rapper West, 33, but while she remained coy about their romance, her sister Khloe, 26, had a lot to say about it. Speaking at the People's Choice Awards on Wednesday, Kim told US entertainment show Extra: "I think I've just been having a lot of fun." Khloe added: "That's because they're boning!" Kim replied: "That came out of Khloe's mouth, not mine!" (Music Rooms)
Okay, thanks khloe, for doing what you guys probably planned in your living room. I just think it is crazy that this chick would live off this kind of controversy. Well, if she is happy with it, who am i to complain, right? lol! And i think she picked the right guy, cos kanye might be a great producer and rapper, but he loves that attention.

Hello?
Hey my people! How was your holiday? Mine was cool and very long; and i am sorry i have not been posting up in here for a while now, i guess i got carried away by the season, and my birthday was 4 days after Christmas, so you know i had a lot of celebration to do...lol!
Okay, this is the beginning of a new year, 2011, and i want this blog to be as interactive as possible; meaning, i want to hear more from you my readers. I don't care what you think, whether you agree or disagree with my posts, i would like to see your comments.
Okay, for last year, Eminem sold the most records, but i think for rap, RICK ROSS owned the year. He was everywhere, and very consistent. I give him all the props, and i am very happy for him, because he really isn't a super lyrically rapper, just a good rapper, with a whole lot of belief in what he does and passion for music. That is what has kept him relevant for all the while (the short while) he has been in the game.
I heard he already has a new single with Drake for his 5th album, which would drop this year. I think i like the fact that he wants to ride the wave. I think his own kind of success is really cool, because he is not selling millions off a first album, and then barely going gold off the subsequent ones... he has maintained his Gold status on all his albums; i think his first album, PORT OF MIAMI went plat, but the rest have been a couple of hundred thousands from plat, but he is very consistent, and he makes beautiful music.
So, let us wait and see who is going to take over for 2011. I know jay-z and kanye west are dropping an album soon; a collabo album, so, kanye would still be very relevant in 2011. And Lil Wayne is trying to get things heated before he drops CARTER 4 album. I wish him all the luck; although i am not really feeling his new single- 6 foot 7 foot; but that is just my opinion. I do like that guy that took the last verse though...cory gunz, i think.
